Experience across planning administration, public research, and project work.
The practice is grounded in applied local-government administration, public-sector consulting and research, statewide planning work, and commercial-development contract support.
Planning & floodplain administration
Current responsibilities include zoning and development review, subdivision administration, permit issuance, Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals staff analysis, ordinance interpretation, NFIP compliance, elevation-certificate administration, and coordination with state and federal floodplain agencies.
The role also includes leading an amendment of a county flood-damage-prevention ordinance by reconciling local provisions with Indiana model standards and federal NFIP minimums.
Commercial Development Contract Support
Provided contract and project-support assistance related to commercial development documentation, including review and improvement of memoranda of understanding and construction-management agreements.
The work emphasized clearer responsibilities, coordination, implementation, and accountability within complex project documentation.
Local-government planning & research support
Prior work includes management analysis, comprehensive and strategic planning, demographic and economic research, fiscal analysis, public-sector facilitation, and implementation support for counties, municipalities, villages, and special districts.
